WGI Judges Receive Gender-Inclusive Language Training

In efforts to advance the organization’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, all WGI adjudicators received training on the use of Gender-Inclusive and Gender-Neutral language in their judge commentary going into the 2024 season.

2023 Summer Report from the WGI Board of Directors

The WGI Board of Directors had its annual meeting in Las Vegas this past weekend. Over two days, directors met to discuss a long list of organizational goals, review WGI policies, adopt a budget for the fiscal year, and approve proposals.
WGI Recognizes and Celebrates Juneteenth Freedom Day!

Juneteenth commemorates the day that the news of emancipation reached Galveston, TX in 1865. This comes 2.5 years after Lincoln declared the end of slavery in January of 1863. WGI honors and celebrates all Black voices in the marching arts and recognizes the importance of their presence and representation within our activity. Continue pushing boundaries

Good manners, courtesy, and common sense are all required to ensure appropriate conduct and behavior.
